Sip & Shop is a hugely beneficial shopping alternative for the 2021 holidays. In 2020, the Club was unable to organize its traditional events which would normally have raised funds to be allocated to the scholarship fund. The goal is to raise funds to close this gap. In addition to being a cocktail party, Sip & Shop has four corporate sponsors: Ellen’s screen printing, Nichole Dunville – Coldwell Banker Realty, Simply better skin and Dr Yuli Mosqueda.

Sip & Shop is a paid event with tickets at $ 10 per person. Tickets can be purchased online by indicating your purchase as a Sip and Shop or during the event. Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test and masks are required.

Live music from the South Pasadena High School Music Department, a free beer and wine bar, small bites and desserts made by members of the Woman’s Club and a few artisan bakers, a raffle and silent auction will all be presented. In addition, a sale of previously appreciated quality books, 100% of the profits of which will be donated to the scholarship fund.

For busy workers and parents, Saturdays are usually filled with sports games, children’s classes and lessons, or races. This evening is a viable option for those who cannot attend the traditional Woman’s Club vacation shop that takes place during the day. Sip & Shop offers even more friends and neighbors the chance to support the Woman’s Club scholarship program and small businesses by shopping at the historic clubhouse from 1913.
