The crack hut is a famous chef’s fried chicken restaurant and Top Chef: All-Stars winner Richard Blais.

The menu features fried chicken sandwiches, chicken oysters, Mexican poutine, and mini miso-maple butter cookies. The restaurant has five locations in California and one location soon to open in Las Vegas.

With a Yelp rating of four stars out of 91 reviews on Yelp, The Crack Shack garnered positive attention.

The Crack Shack is open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Yelp users are excited about Modern Chinese, which currently holds 4.5 stars out of 57 reviews on the site.

The extensive menu features grilled and fried seafood, as well as seafood and chicken options for pasta, salads, tacos, burritos, poke, and more. This is the second Pier Grill location.

Yelp users are excited about The Pier Grill, which currently holds five stars out of 33 reviews on the site.

Haruko I. Noted, “This place is delicious and very affordable. You have to try the Cajun Garlic Butter Catfish and the Garlic Butter Snapper. The coleslaw was also very light and flavorful.”

The Pier Grill is open 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. (It is closed on Saturdays.)

On the menu, look for appetizers like cream cheese wonton, shrimp shumai and spicy tuna over crispy rice, as well as a long list of sushi rolls, including the Hot Night Roll, with fried shrimp, crab, avocado, spicy tuna and crunch; and the Monster Roll, with Cajun tuna, asparagus, spicy albacore, gobo and stick crab.

Kuno sushi’s current Yelp rating of 3.5 out of 18 reviews indicates the newcomer is finding his way, but it’s still early days.
